In the Forum Rules, it says not to SPAM. This is where I will tell you exactly what SPAM is. SPAM is the abbrieviation of Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Which is basically what SPAM is. But SPAM is also more than that. If you are reading someone's fan fiction, and you like there story, don't just say "Great fic!" or "Keep writing!" All messages should be at least two lines long and hopefully much longer. You can write something such as "This is an awesome story! Keep writing. I'll wait for an update. I wonder what happens to Harry in the next chapter..." Also, if you see something that interests you on the boards, such as a thread, don't say "I totally agree with you." Your post can and will be deleted by someone modding that forum. Either that or it will be marked with one of these: You should explain why you like it or tell something you know or think about it. This is also true with suggestions. Don't say "I think that will work." Thank you for listening, and please don't SPAM. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. -Danny

WOOT! That was great. I was going to post a SPAM announcement... but i completely forgot what SPAM stood for. I knew the first parts, but i completely spaced the rest... Danny is right. And i am not going to take spamming nicely. I have spammed before and i feel completely terrible for it. Also, SPAMMING isn't just one liners or anything like that. Spamming can consist of: - Excessive amounts of posts to increase post count & galleon count. - In games, if you and maybe like 2 or 3 others have been the only ones to play the game for like 1+ pages, this is considered to be trying to increase your post count & galleon count. - Double Posting...just edit your previous post. - Replying to a post that doesn't need a reply. - Excessive amounts of images in your post (not counting your signature) as attachments or trying to make a full post with smilies and other images. - Creating threads that are in the wrong category will and can receive a --- Don't get me wrong, smilies can be used in posts...but to use them to make your post, like smilies all over the place...isn't right and a waist of your time and ours.
